Using Tabs to Manage Multiple Websites

While reading a web page, you've probably wanted to click some of the links without losing your place on the first page. With Safari, you can use tabs to switch between multiple web pages in a single window.
  1. From the Safari menu, choose Preferences.
  2. Click the Tabs icon in the toolbar, and then select Enable Tabbed Browsing.
  3. Close Safari Preferences.
  4. Hold down the Command and Shift keys and click one of the bookmarks in the Bookmarks bar. Notice how a new tab opens to the page.
  5. Hold down the Command and Shift keys and use the arrow keys to move between the tabs you've opened.
  6. Go to the Bookmarks Bar, choose an item with multiple bookmarks in it, and then choose Open in Tabs to open all of the pages in separate tabs at once.
